For example, my lunches have included things like this: Homemade ritz crackers with peanut butter smeared in the middle, cut up strawberries, pineapple, grapes that include a paper towel in the bag because they were wet from him washing them, water bottles with crystal light, turkey sandwiches, and other little snacks for the day. He asks me at the end of the day, "Did you eat your lunch today Moriah?" It cracks me up.
It is the cutest thing ever. Then I come home to a super clean apartment and a dinner set and ready to go on the table. He goes to the grocery store for us, bought string and re-beaded my watch bracelet that broke, and still finds time to quiz me and help me with school.
One time I was wearing socks that didn't quite match, but only by a slight shade of pink. Dustin looked at my socks and gasped. "Moriah, I was looking everywhere for that sock in the laundry today!! I had to pair it with the green one!" I lost it laughing at that point. He just sounded so intensely concerned about my socks and making sure they were perfect.
He has been saving my life! I'm grateful for such a selfless husband. So yeah, if he wants to golf every other day...I guess I'm slightly okay with that!
Oh and another time we went to play games at a friends house and Dustin made cookies to bring over. They loved them and raved to me about how good they were. I told them Dustin made them, and they were completely shocked! I know I sound spoiled, and I very well may be, but it is only temporary. Once Dustin starts school again things will even out but right now I am just enjoying it, and loving him so so much!
